UNAPPROVED

The Lake Mary Township monthly meeting was called to order by Chairman, James Schmidt, with the pledge to the flag at 7:00 pm.

Members present: Supervisors: James Schmidt, Max Radil, and Pete Fernholz;

Clerk, Sue Hanson, and Treasurer, Christy Tvrdik.

A Motion was made by Max Radil to approve the agenda with 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 3-0.

A Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the claims and disbursements #5884-5906, and PERA0922 in the amount of $15,066.28, 2nd by Pete Fernholz.  Motion carried 3-0.   

A Motion was made by Max Radil to approve the 2022 minutes, 2nd by James Schmidt. Motion carried 3-0.

TREASURERS REPORT: LMT has a balance of $917,908.24. There is one outstanding check. A Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the Treasures report as read, 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 3-0.         

ITEMS FROM THE FLOOR: None

ROAD DISCUSSION:

Culvert bill- County Line: The bad culvert on County Line Rd. has been replaced. The total bill was $3,113.60. An invoice of $1,556.80 will be sent to Reno Township for their 50% responsibility.

OLD BUSINESS:  

Ross Larson-Little Mary Circle: No representation present, tabled.

Matt Mork- Oriole Ln: A discussion was had. An engineering plan is required by the County before a permit to allow the new ditch to run to the lake will be issued. LMT will use Widseth, Smith, and Nolting for the engineering process. There appears to be a fiber optic cable run by Runestone Telecom in the new ditch area. Runestone Telecom will be contacted regarding the issue.

Erickson-Woodsman Dr.: A hearing will be held tonight on Wayne H Erickson, Etal, for a variance to allow a subdivision creating one lot without platting on pt of E2 SW4 SW4 & Pt of W2 SE4S W4. Section 3. LMT has no issues with this.

  NEW BUSINESS

Election Judge Appointment: Clerk, Sue Hanson, presented the Board with the list of appointed election judges for the November 8, 2022, General Election. A motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the election judges for the November 8th election, 2nd by Max Radial. Motion carried 3-0.

MATIT- Liability Insurance: Notice was received from MATIT that the LMT liability insurance renewal date has been moved to March 1, 2023.

Land Use Permits: LUPs were reviewed.

Calendar: September and October calendars were reviewed.

Next Meeting October 11, 2022 @ 7:00 PM

MAILBAG- Mailbag was reviewed and discussed.

A Motion was made by James Schmidt at 7:34 PM to adjourn the meeting, 2nd by Max Radil. Motion carried 3-0.
