The Lake Mary Township monthly meeting was called to order by Chairman, James Schmidt, with the pledge to the flag at 7:02 PM.
Members present: Supervisors: James Schmidt, Max Radil, and Pete Fernholz;
Clerk, Sue Hanson, and Treasurer, Christy Tvrdik.
A Motion was made by Max to approve the March agenda,2nd by Pete. Motion carried 3-0.
A Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the claims and disbursements #- =and PERA in the amount of, 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 3-0.
A Motion was made by Max Radil to approve the February 2025 minutes, 2nd by James Schmidt. Motion carried 3-0.
A Motion was made by Pete Fernholz to approve the 2025 Board of Audit minutes, 2nd by James Schmidt. Motion carried 3-0.
TREASURERS REPORT: LMT has a balance of $1,1781567.70 There are no outstanding checks.
A Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the Treasures report as read, 2nd by Max Radil. Motion carried 3-0.

ROAD DISCUSSION:
Road Maintenance and Gravel Spreading Publication: The 2025 road maintenance and gravel spreading publication was reviewed and OK’d to publish.
Set a date for Road Review: A tentative date of Friday, April 11, 2025, was set as the road review.
OLD BUSINESS:
Budget Update: A new dollar amount was received from the Forada Fire Department for 2026. A discussion was had. A Motion was made by James Schmidt to change the estimated 2026 budget proposal to $527,759.00, 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 3-0.
NEW BUSINESS:
Summary of 2025 Town Taxes Voted: The total of the 2024 Town Taxes Voted, including ALASD is $555,551.00.
Summary of 2025 Assessment (taxes payable 2026): The Summary of the 2025 assessments and property values were received from the Douglas County Assessors office. A discussion was had.
HRA Housing Study: The Douglas County HRA and Pope County HRA/EDA are holding a joint kick-off meeting for separate housing studies on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 7:30 PM. The HRA’s are inviting all cities, townships, county board members, and other integral parties to participate in key discussion topics and goals
