The Lake Mary Township monthly meeting was called to order by Chairman, James Schmidt, with the pledge to the flag at 7:00 PM

Members present Supervisors: James Schmidt, Max Rail, and Pete Fernholz;

Clerk, Sue Hanson, and Treasurer, Christy Tvrdik.

A Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the agenda with Cross County Lane rebuild added under Roads, 2^nd by Max Radil. Motion carried 3-0.

A Motion was made by Pete Fernholz to approve the claims and disbursements #6092- 6107, and PERA0823 in the amount of $45,007.19, 2^nd by James Schmidt. Motion carried 3-0.   

A Motion was made by Max Radil to approve the July 2023 minutes, 2^nd by James Schmidt. Motion carried 3-0.

TREASURERS REPORT: LMT has a balance of $------------------, there are no outstanding checks.

A Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the Treasures report as read, 2^nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 3-0.        

ITEMS FROM THE FLOOR:  None

ROAD DISCUSSION:

Gravel testing results: The class 5 sieve analysis for the gravel from Hvezda Excavating was received. The gravel meets all the gradation requirements.

Bertrum approach application: An application for an approach was received from Bertram’s on Trousil Drive.

Parking lot stripping estimate: An estimate was received for striping the parking lot from a local company. A discussion was had. LMT parking will not be re-striped.

Cross Country rebuild: James Schmidt left a detailed message for Marty Shultz, City Administrator, with an estimate for the rebuilding of Cross Country Lane, due to the cost-sharing for the road. No response was received from the City of Alexandria on this matter.

OLD BUSINESS:

MATIT- Town hall evaluation/premium: James Shmidt was in contact with MATIT regarding the evaluation of the town hall. A discussion was had. The deductible was raised to $5,000.00.

Hearings: Max Radil attending the viewing for Gracies Addition, 2 more lots will be made available with no plan to extend the road at this time.

  NEW BUSINESS

2024 Township Aid notice: LMT will be receiving $2,631.00 in township aid in 2024.

District 9 Meeting: Monday, Aug. 14, Director Vance Bachmann

Dilworth Community Center,709 1st Ave NW, Dilworth, MN

Land Use Permits: None received

Calendar: The August and September calendars were reviewed

Next Meeting: Sept. 12, 2023@ 7:00 PM

MAILBAG- The mailbag was reviewed and discussed.

A Motion was made by James Schmidt at 7:31 PM to adjourn the meeting, 2^nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 3-0.
