The Lake Mary Township monthly meeting was called to order by Chairman, James Schmidt, with the pledge to the flag at 7:00 pm.

Members present, Supervisors: James Schmidt and Pete Fernholz, Max Radil was not present; Clerk, Sue Hanson, and Treasurer, Christy Tvrdik.

A Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the agenda with 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 2-0.

A Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the claims and disbursements #5907-5920, 941-2022-3, and PERA1022 in the amount of $46,591.78, 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 2-0.   

A Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the 2022 minutes, 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 2-0.

TREASURERS REPORT: LMT has a balance of $905,725.07. There is one outstanding check.

A Motion was made by Pete Fernholz to approve the Treasures report as read, 2nd by James Schmidt. Motion carried 2-0.        

ITEMS FROM THE FLOOR: None

ROAD DISCUSSION:

Radil Farms-Approach permit Pheasant Way: Radil Farms applied for an approach permit on the Bruzek property off of Pheasant Way. A motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the approach permit for Radil Farms on the Bruzek property off of Pheasant Way SW, 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 2-

MPCA Smart Salting News - Fall 2022: Information on Smart Salting was received from ALASD. A discussion was had.

OLD BUSINESS:  

Ditch Oriole Ln.-Mork #30-0414-000: The engineering plans are finalized and the permit is in process. The tentative Project date is set for this spring.

Roth Annexation: The City of Alexandria has accepted the Annexation of the Roth property

Payroll-election judges on payroll: A discussion was had. Tabled until next meeting.

  NEW BUSINESS

ALASD 2023 sewer allocation-The ALASD sewer allocation for 2023 is $55,131.00.

Election Ballot/Polling places: The 2022 General Election ballots and polling place lists were reviewed.

Runestone Telecom Capital Credit Buyout: Runestone Telecom had offered a capital credit buyout. A motion was made by James Schmidt not to accept the capital credit buyout, 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 2-0.

MATIT Ins.: Reviewed, no changes are to be made at this time

Dangerous dog permit: A dangerous dog permit was issued by Douglas County to a resident located on Little Mary Circle.

Land use/sewer permits: None

MAT-Annual Conference/Outstate Training: MAT Annual Conference will be held in St Cloud on October 14 & 15. Outstate training is to be held in different locations October-December.

MAILBAG- The mailbag was reviewed and discussed.

A Motion was made by James Schmidt at 7:18 PM to adjourn the meeting, 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 2-0.
