Monthly Meeting – September 9, 2025

The Lake Mary Township monthly meeting was called to order by Chairman James Schmidt with the Pledge to the Flag at 7:00 PM.

Members present:

• Supervisors: James Schmidt, Max Radil, and Pete Fernholz (Pete arrived at 7:08 PM)
• Clerk: Sue Hanson
• Treasurer: Christy Tvrdik

A motion was made by Max Radil to approve the September agenda, seconded by James Schmidt. Motion carried 2-0.

A motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the claims and disbursements #6518–6831 and PERA0925 in the amount of $26,851.60, seconded by Max Radil. Motion carried 2-0.

A motion was made by Max Radil to approve the August 2025 minutes, seconded by James Schmidt. Motion carried 3-0.

TREASURER'S REPORT:

 There were no outstanding checks. A motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the Treasurer's Report as read, seconded by Max Radil. Motion carried 3-0.

ROAD DISCUSSION:

None

OLD BUSINESS:

• District 9 Meeting: Max Radil attended the District 9 meeting. A discussion was held.
• Fern Roth Solar Farm: Nothing to discuss.
• BSSA Powerline: A meeting will be held in Alexandria on September 30th. Max will plan to attend.
• Sewer Holding Tank – Pumping Schedule: The sewer was pumped last month, and it was reported that the tank was very full. After discussion, it was decided that LMT will have the sewer pumped twice per year, in April and September, due to the number of hall event rentals.
• Viewing & Hearing – Frederikson Lake Mary: Max attended the viewing for Frederikson’s on Lake Mary. The owners plan to add two additional cabins to the resort. LMT has no objections.
• Land Use Permits: None received.
• Calendar: September and October calendars were reviewed.

A motion was made by James Schmidt at 7:21 PM to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 3-0.
