May 9, 2017 Monthly Meeting Minutes for Lake Mary Township

Meeting was called to order at 7:30pm with the pledge to the flag.

Motion by James, 2^nd by Donna to approve the agenda with additions. Motion carried 3-0

Motion by James, 2^nd by Donna to approve bills totaling $15,488.06. Motion carried 3-0

Motion by Donna, 2^nd by Dean to approve April minutes. Motion carried 3-0

Motion by Donna, 2^nd by James to approve Board of Equalization minutes. Motion carried 3-0

Motion by Donna, 2^nd by James to approve Road Review minutes. Motion carried 3-0

Motion by James, 2^nd by Donna to approve treasurers report. Motion carried 3-0

Dean spoke with Hudson Township and it was decided that April would the time of year for road maintenance to switch responsibility from Lake Mary to Hudson. Lake Mary maintained Nemec Estates from April 2016 to April 2017. Next year Lake Mary will take over road maintenance from on April 1, 2018 through March 31, 2018.

Culvert at beginning of Woodsman was failing. The county looked at culvert and determined they will be replacing the culvert.

Tabling Holmes City First Responders discussion until the next meeting, as we are need more time to gather information.

Resolution 5-17 for Chloride was drafted. Motion by James, 2^nd by Dean to approve the resolution. Motion carried 3-0.

Motion by James, 2^nd by Dean to approve liquor license for Cottage Grove Resort. Motion carried 3-0.

Mail bag was looked at and discussed. Motion by James, 2^nd by Dean to adjourn the meeting at 8:37pm. Motion carried 3-0.
