Lake Mary Township

March 13, 2017 – meeting minutes

Meeting called to order at 7:30 with the pledge to the flag.

Motion by James to approve agenda with additions, 2^nd by Dean, motion carried 3-0

Motion by James to approve bills, totaling $12,827.20, 2^nd by Dean, motion carried 3-0

Motion by Donna to approve minutes, 2^nd by James, motion carried 3-0

Motion by James to approve treasurer’s report, 2^nd by Donna, motion carried 3-0

Runge Grading presented with board with updated pricing that took effect January 1^st, 2017

Serenity Cove Drainage request was sent by Mr. Forst. After discussion, James made a motion that the township will be responsible for the culverts under the township road. The township will not be responsible for the two storm pipes from the road to the lake. In addition, the township will not be responsible for the holding ponds. 2^nd by Dean, motion carried 3-0.

The Board of Canvas meeting will be held immediately following the Annual Township Meeting

County Association of Townships will be held at Public Works on March 15, 2017 at 8:30am

Board of Equalization Meeting will be held April 17^th at 9am

Runestone Telecom Fiber Optic will be going in to Lake Mary township.

The board has decided to continue the audit contract with Desautels and Associates.

The board decided to contract with the county for 17,000 gallons of chloride.

Budget items were discussed for Annual Meeting.

Motion by James, 2^nd by Donna to adjourn meeting at 9:45pm. Motion carried 3-0
