Sewer/Chan/Jim's South Side: A resident inquired about having his sewer hook-up assessed to his property taxes. A discussion was had. LMT only did assessments for the first initial sewer projects and will not do assessments for individual sewer hook-ups. Assessments for hook-ups will only be done if a new section of sewer goes through where there would be multiple residential hook-ups. Jim's South Side development parcel sewer hook-ups are subject to a 5,000.00 hook-up charge, a hook-up charge of $4,000.00, and a $1,000.00 SAC charge. Doraska only paid a permit fee to ALASD to place 2 sewer hubs, which they contracted to have put in, the hubs were inspected and approved by ALASD, and hook-ups for the parcels were not paid for.
