The meeting was called to order by James Schmidt with the pledge to the flag at 9:00 AM.
Present were Jake Barvels, Steve Christenson, Appraisers, and Supervisors, James Schmidt, Pete Fernholz, and Max Radil.
There were no appeals requested or attendees present at this meeting.
The Board reviewed the 2023 County Assessment Summary for Lake Mary Township sales for 10/01/2022 to 9/30/2023.
There were 8 home sales in LMT; 5 off water and 3 on water sales.
There were 21 agricultural sales in Douglas County with 0 in LMT.
There were 21 commercial sales in Douglas County with 0 in LMT.
LMT had an increase of 5.6% in property values, and $5,000,000.00 in new construction
Douglas County had 408 good sales, -19.84 %.
With no further discission brought before the board, a motion was made by James Schmidt to adjourn the Board of Equalization meeting at 9:31 AM, 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 3-0
A second meeting with, was called to order immediately following the Board of Appeals meeting at 9:35 AM by James Schmidt regarding easement approval for the County Road 4 road project.
Present were Jordan Schlangen, Jacob Hoffman, and Gavin Greengo, representatives from Douglas County, and Supervisors, James Schmidt, Pete Fernholz, and Max Radil.
A discussion was had. A motion was made by James Schmidt to approve permanent and temporary easements by Lake Mary Township, 2nd by Max Radil. Motion carried 3-0.
A motion was made by James Schmidt to adjourn the meeting at 9:55 AM, 2nd by Max Radil. Motion carried 3-0.
