Meeting was called to order by Chairman, James Schmidt, with the pledge to the flag at 7:33 P.M.
Members present: Supervisors: James Schmidt, Donna Hoeper and Pete Fernholz.
Clerk, Sue Hanson, and Treasurer, Christy Tvrdik.
Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve agenda with no additions. 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 3-0.
Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the bills in the amount of $46,044.64. 2nd by Donna Hoeper. Motion carried 3-0.
Motion was made by Donna Hoeper to approve the May 2019 minutes with punctuation corrections. 2nd by James Schmidt. Motion carried 3-0.
TREASURERS REPORT: LMT has balance of $795,695.48. Money Market balance is $188,850.03. There is $2,538.79 in outstanding checks.
Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the Treasures report as read, 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 3-0.

ROAD DISCUSSION:
Paving project update: Jeff Runge Sr. and Jeff Stabnow were both present. Jeff Runge has the majority of the soft spot issues repaired with the exception of Turtle Trail and Turtle Court. The soft spots on Little Mary Circle took more repairs than expected. Spearfish Ln. had a standing water issue. Jeff Runge replaced a culvert on Spearfish to help with water issue. Jeff Runge said he found areas on some on the roads where the blacktop was only 1 inch thick. Mark Lee is planning to start paving in August. Serenity Cove roads need to be looked at closer and checked for cracks in blacktopping before LMT takes over the maintenance on the roads.
Swing away mailboxes: Townships across Douglas County handle the cost differently. Jeff Stabnow reported Brandon Township, splits the cost 50/50 with residents. Discussion was had. Jeff Stabnow will continue working on cost and cost share possibilities. Jeff Stabnow will also do an estimate for placing swing away mailboxes on each blacktop road being repaired this summer. This will give us and idea how to move forward. Having a mailbox resolution for LMT was mentioned.
Reno View/County Line Rd Agreement: Keith Hvezda, from Reno Township was present so we could discuss LMT’s desire to redo our current road agreement regarding Reno View Drive and County Line Road. This would resolve some issues we are having with our current agreement. We proposed that Reno Township take back the responsibility of snowplowing and grading the entire Reno View Drive. Lake Mary Township would the take back the responsibility of snowplowing and grading the entire County Line Road. Each township would still do their own maintenance on their portion of these two roads in their townships. After discussion, Keith Hvezda agreed to present the change to the Reno Township board. James Schmidt will draft a new road agreement for the Reno Township board to review and hopefully we can approve this at the August meeting.
OLD BUSINESS:
Culvert Resolution: Culvert resolution tabled until July meeting.
Resolution Establishing Spending of the Capital Project Fund: The Resolution Establishing Spending of the Capital Project Fund was reviewed. Motion was made by Donna Hoeper to approve Resolution 6-19. 2nd by James Schmidt. Motion Carried 3-0
Outcome for hearing of LUP for Serenity Cove (Forst’s): LMTreceived an email from Dave Rush. The Board of Adjustment denied the appeal by Dave Forst for a LUP for construction of a storage shed.
Letter to residents of Oriole Ln.: Board reviewed and approved a letter for resident regarding the placement of the dock near road on Oriole Lane during the winter. Sue Hanson will send out.
NEW BUSINESS:
Letter from Residents on East Lake Mary Rd: LMT received a letter from a resident stating concern of underage drivers using motorized vehicles on East Lake Mary Rd, including golf carts and motorcycles. The resident has concerns of someone getting hurt. The residents would like permission from LMT to place three signs informing drivers of the law. Discussion was had. LMT is not responsible for enforcing the law. A reply letter will be sent. LMT has concerns with placing additional signs on the road/ditch.
ALASD Payment: 1st half of payment due in July. LMT will continue to pay ALASD bi- annually.
2020 Census New Construction Program: The board reviewed the letter explaining the participation in the 2020 Census New Construction Program. Discussion was had. LMT has decided not to participate in the optional Census New Construction Program at this time due the extensive time commitment that is involved.
April/May issued sewer and Land Use Permits: LMT Board reviewed the sewer and land use permits for April and May 2019
Cenex-Propane Auto Fill: Discussion had. The Town Hall will stay on auto fill program.
Calendar: The Calendar for June and July were reviewed and discussed. LMT is on schedule for all deadlines.
MAT Member cards: Sue Hanson distributed the MAT membership cards to Board members.
MAIL BAG- Mail bag was reviewed and discussed.
