Lake Mary Township Monthly Meeting

February 13, 2018

Meeting was called to order by James with the pledge to the flag at 7:30pm.

Motion by James to approve agenda with additions, 2^nd by Donna. Motion carried 3-0

Motion to approve the bills in the amount of $4,140.50 by James, 2^nd by Donna. Motion carried 3-0

Motion to approve minutes by Donna, 2^nd by James. Motion carried 3-0

Motion to approve the Treasurers report by James, 2^nd by Donna. Motion carried 3-0

Road Discussion – the board discussed road conditions with Runge Grading. At this time, there are no concerns.

Jason, resident living on Pospisil Drive, here to discuss road issues. High traffic, while children are at play. Would like to request a “children at play” sign or any sign that would signal caution. Discussion on calling law enforcement for some extra patrol. Township cannot change speed limit, as it’s a state statute. The board cannot place any addition signage.

March monthly meeting will be held on Monday, March 12^th at 7:30pm.

Annual Meeting will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 8:15pm.

March township elections will be held at the townhall from 2pm-8pm.

The board looked over the newsletter from last year and made changes and updated.

A motion was made by James, 2^nd by Dean to approve the appointment of Gaylen Lerohl to the ALASD board. 3-0, motion carried.

The board looked at the initial draft for the 2019 budget. Discussion was had and will be discussed and wrapped up at the March meeting.

Clerk and Treasurer duties were discussed, to provide clarification. Special assessment reporting process guidelines were discussed. Report of Outstanding Indebtedness and who is supposed to file these forms. The clerk is to file this report with the Auditor/Treasurers office.

Election publication timeline was discussed.

Mail bag was looked at the discussed.

Motion by James at 9:05pm to adjourn the meeting, 2^nd by Donna. Motion carried 3-0
