The Lake Mary Township monthly meeting was called to order by Chairman, James Schmidt, with the pledge to the flag at 7:00 pm.
Members present Supervisors: James Schmidt, Max Radil, and Pete Fernholz;
Clerk, Sue Hanson, and Treasurer, Christy Tvrdik.
A Motion was made by Max Radil to approve the agenda with 2nd by James Schmidt. Motion carried 3-0.
A Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the claims and disbursements #6058-6074 and PERA0623 in the amount of $39,889.54, 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 3-0.
A Motion was made by Max Radil to approve the May 2023 minutes, 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 3-0.
TREASURERS REPORT: A Motion was made by James Schmidt to approve the Treasures report as read, 2nd by Pete Fernholz. Motion carried 3-0.
ITEMS FROM THE FLOOR: None
ROAD DISCUSSION:
Frontage Rd- Blacktop: Randy Heaton, owner of Certified Auto Plaza was present to inquire about blacktopping Frontage Rd SW. A discussion was had. The initial blacktopping expense would be up to the landowners on the road. After 1-year LMT would take over the maintenance. A petition would need to be filed.
Chloride: The tentative chloride date is June 19th. The new gravel has been placed on all roads to be chlorided.
Culverts: All culverts under roads have been replaced as of now, except for the culvert on Long Lake Lane that is being placed by Steve Hvezda.
Reno View- Dead End sign/gravel in the ditch: The fallen-down dead-end sign and gravel in the ditch at Reno View will be taken care of.
OLD BUSINESS:
Ditch-Oriole: A quote for the erosion control on the new ditch on Oriole Ln was received from Exterior Design. A discussion was had. The landowner Matt Mork will be responsible for his erosion control and filling in the original existing ditch on his parcel.
Approach permit Little Mary Circle: Max Radil inspected the new approach on Little Mary Circle. The approach does not meet LMT standards. A discussion was had. Max will contact the contractor.
NEW BUSINESS
Public Land Survey System: An informational email was received from the County Surveyor’s Office regarding any upcoming road construction projects the township may have.
Farmers Union Oil: A contract letter was received from Farmers Union Oil. A discussion was had. LMT will continue to stay on the keep-fill program and not contract.
Mn State Demographics: A letter was received with the 2022 population and household estimates for LMT. LMT's 2022 population estimate is 1,185, and the 2022 household estimate is 438.
Calendar: The June and July calendars were reviewed.
MAT member cards: MAT member cards were received and distributed to Board members.
Land Use Permits/Land & Resource: LUPs and info from Land & Recourses were reviewed.

MAILBAG- The mailbag was reviewed and discussed.
A Motion was made by James Schmidt at 7:48 PM to adjourn the meeting, 2nd by Max Radil. Motion carried 3-0.
